Ten tools do this well enough to shortlist in 2026: Amplitude AI Feedback, Bagel AI, Canny, Chattermill, Dovetail, Enterpret, Pendo Listen, Productboard Spark, Thematic and Unwrap. They all read feedback and group it into themes. They differ on three things that decide whether the output turns into a decision, which is whether they tie feedback to revenue, whether they hand the result to engineers and coding agents, and whether security will sign off on them.
A disclosure before anything else: I work at Bagel AI, and it’s on this list. I tried to hold it to the same standard as the rest. Every fact below comes from each vendor’s own website as of November 1, 2026, and where a vendor’s page didn’t say something, the table says “Not stated” instead of me guessing.

What I looked for
Clustering feedback is solved. Any of these tools, and a weekend with an LLM, will tell you that “export” came up a lot this month. The harder part is getting from that theme to a decision someone will defend in a roadmap review, so I compared them on the steps after clustering.
- Sources. Calls, tickets, chats and CRM notes, not just surveys. Most product decisions get argued from sales calls and support tickets.
- Revenue. Whether a theme shows the accounts and ARR behind it. Mention counts rank whoever was loudest.
- Hand-off. Whether the result reaches Jira, Linear or a coding agent like Claude Code or Cursor, usually through MCP. More and more of the build happens there now.
- Security. A SOC 2 Type II report, since these tools read customer conversations.
- Price. What’s public, so you know which demos are worth taking.
The tools, one by one
Amplitude AI Feedback
Amplitude’s feedback analysis runs inside its analytics product and links what users say to what they do in the product. It reads app store reviews, support tools like Zendesk and Intercom, Gong, review sites, Reddit and CSV uploads. Every Amplitude plan, including Free, includes 2,000 feedback records a month. Its page doesn’t say anything about revenue weighting or handing work to dev tools, so it fits best if your team already lives in Amplitude and wants feedback next to the usage data.
Bagel AI
Bagel AI calls itself a product brain. It connects to 100+ tools, resolves every mention to one customer so nothing is counted twice, and ranks requests by ARR or another KPI you choose. Decisions go out as scoped specs with the evidence attached, to the team and to coding agents like Claude Code, Cursor and Codex through the Bagel MCP. After something ships, it checks whether the feature did what it was supposed to. It’s SOC 2 Type II certified and starts at $24K a year with a 30-day pilot. It’s built for product teams who need to defend roadmap calls with revenue and hand them straight to engineering.
Canny (Autopilot)
Canny started as a feature request board, and Autopilot is the AI layer on top. It pulls requests out of sales and support conversations from Gong, Intercom, Zendesk, Zoom and others, merges duplicates and files them by product area. Requests come tied to the customer and account, and the CRM integrations sit on the Business plan. It connects to Jira, Linear, GitHub and Azure DevOps, and has MCP connectors for Claude and Cursor. There’s a free plan, paid plans start at $79 a month billed yearly, and Autopilot is included in all plans.
Chattermill
Chattermill is built for CX and voice of customer teams. It analyzes surveys, reviews, social, support conversations and calls, ranks issues by their effect on business metrics and links every insight back to the comments behind it. You can pull in Salesforce or other CRM data to see feedback next to each account, and it files Jira and Linear tickets and has its own MCP. Pricing isn’t public. The vendor says it’s meant for companies with around 5,000 or more feedback items a month.
Dovetail
Dovetail comes from user research. It transcribes and summarizes calls, interviews, tickets and surveys from 30+ sources, and every insight links back to the evidence. It can route work to Jira, Linear, Claude and Cursor, and it has an MCP server. Revenue context is partial, since Salesforce contact enrichment depends on the plan. There’s a free plan, and Enterprise is priced on request. It’s the natural pick when your research team runs interviews and product wants to build on that work.
Enterpret
Enterpret pulls feedback from support tools, Gong, app stores, review sites, community channels and product analytics into one taxonomy, and weights each theme by the revenue behind it. It has its own MCP server for Claude, Cursor and Codex and can file Jira or Linear tickets. It’s SOC 2 Type II certified, along with several ISO standards. Pricing is custom and based mainly on data volume, and the vendor recommends it for teams with at least 1,000 feedback records a month.
Pendo Listen
Listen is Pendo’s feedback product. It gathers call transcripts, tickets, surveys and in-app polls, and uses AI to summarize, spot trends and flag duplicate ideas. It maps account ARR, churn risk and in-product behavior to each idea, and it can send a briefed issue to Jira. Listen is part of Pendo’s Ultimate plan, and pricing is on request. It’s a strong fit if you already run Pendo for analytics and in-app guides.
Productboard Spark
Spark is Productboard’s AI agent. It reads your whole feedback base with citations, tracks trends and drafts voice of customer reports and specs. Specs can be pulled into Claude Code, Codex or Cursor through MCP. Salesforce data can enrich opportunities on the Enterprise plan, and Jira and Azure DevOps sit on the Business plan. Pricing isn’t public, and Spark runs on credits included in every plan. It makes the most sense for teams that already plan their roadmap in Productboard.
Thematic
Thematic groups feedback into themes linked to the original comments and scores each theme by business impact, with account revenue joined in. It reads surveys, tickets, call transcripts, app reviews and CRM notes, and connects to Qualtrics, Medallia, Zendesk and Intercom. AI assistants like Copilot, Claude and ChatGPT can query it through MCP, but its pages don’t mention Jira or Linear. The Foundation plan is $25,000 a year. It’s built for insights teams that report to product, CX and operations.
Unwrap
Unwrap collects feedback from surveys, tickets, calls and reviews, analyzes it without manual tagging and sends trend alerts and digests. Its pages don’t mention revenue weighting or a hand-off to dev tools. It lists SOC 2 Type II on the homepage. Pricing starts at $24,000 a year based on feedback volume, with a 30-day trial. It’s aimed at product ops, CX and VoC teams at enterprise companies in retail, travel and software.
One tool that used to show up on these lists is gone: Atlassian acquired Cycle in 2025 and is folding it into Jira Product Discovery. I wrote about what that means for Cycle users separately.
Which one fits
- You already pay for a platform. Amplitude, Pendo and Productboard customers should try the built-in option first, since the data is already there.
- Your research team runs interviews. Dovetail.
- CX or VoC owns feedback, at high volume. Chattermill, Thematic, Unwrap or Enterpret.
- You want a feature request board customers can see. Canny.
- Product needs revenue-ranked decisions that go straight to engineers and coding agents. Bagel AI or Enterpret. If you’re weighing that against building it yourself, I put the numbers in build or buy.
